The men were spotted emerging from their trailers clad in devil-inspired costumes, including plastic horns and red satin capes.

Later, the men were seen strolling back to their trailers shirtless in matching checked trousers. 

Their outfits were reminiscent of Take That’s stage attire, which was known for being edgy and larger-than-life.

Australian actors Liam Head, Jesse Hyde and Chase Vollenweder are set to portray Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange respectively. 

Meanwhile, English actor Jake Simmance, who is known for starring in Netflix drama Anatomy Of A Scandal, will play Gary Barlow. 

In a twist, it has been reported that Robbie will be portrayed as a computer-generated monkey.

Taking on this role is British actor Jono Davies, who was spotted strolling around set wearing a full-bod CGI suit on Friday. 

It was announced in December that producers would begin filming Better Man at Docklands Studios in Melbourne in early 2022. 

The production is rumours to have cost $100million.

Directed and co-written by Victorian filmmaker Michael Gracey, the film will offer an introspective look into the experiences that shaped the English entertainer, both on and off stage. 

‘To tell Robbie William’s beautiful, distinct story, back home, in my own city, is a dream come true,’ Gracey said in a statement.

Take That formed in 1989 and went on to achieve 12 number one singles on the UK Singles Chart along with eight number one albums and are currently the most successful boy band in UK chart history.

The original line-up featured Robbie, who left the band in 1995 and forged a phenomenally successful solo career. The group disbanded a year later.

In 2006 the band – minus Robbie – reunited and enjoyed great success once more.

Robbie returned to the band in 2010 for new album Progress but stepped down once in 2014.
