Serena Williams’ former coach addressed Novak Djokovic’s negative popularity

Even after making history in the tennis world and accomplishing a lot, Djokovic has not been shown the same level of support from the public as his competitors, Federer and Nadal. Recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s former coach, in an interview with UTS London, talked about one of the reasons he is booed a lot during his matches.

He stated, “Rafa & Roger were the biggest superstars of tennis, but Novak came in & beat both of them & the crowds hated him for that. I think he is booed for other reasons as well. He says he doesn’t like this negativity, but sometimes he pushes the crowd to boo him because it helps him during the matches.”
