Given that most contracts sign WWE stars for 3-year deals, and Punk's last negotiation was in the summer of 2011, it is likely he will be up for a new deal some time before WWE's July pay-per-view. In the past, Punk has been very open and candid about not wanting to be a "pro wrestling lifer", and that he likes to find new mountains to climb to keep him from getting bored. That said, PWInsider.com is reporting that nobody backstage within WWE is expecting the Straight Edge Superstar to leave the company right away.

And for those who have asked, Lyle Preslar was the guitarist and writer for the band Minor Threat.
