Katie was driving her 2021 Buick Enclave southward on 22nd Avenue NE, approximately eight miles west of Reynolds in Traill County, when a heart-wrenching incident unfolded. Law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene after the accident was reported, around 12:10 a.m. on November 2, 2023. Tragically, Katie Richards lost her life at the scene, leaving her colleagues, friends, and the community she devoted herself to in profound grief.
